What do you collect?

Everyone collects something, right? ...No? Well screw you then! lol

I collect all sorts of crap from places I've been, like I'll take shells from the beaches I go to, or... I'll take brochures from cities I've visited. That kinda thing. I like to keep anything that could bring back memories. For example, I have a lei from the first dance I ever went to with my fiancee.  I have the nametag I wore when I went to a statewide contest and won. I've also got small mementos from friends' weddings, stuff like that. I have a giant box CHOCK full of crap. I guess you could say I'm sentimental lol...

So, what do you like to collect?

 I used to collect movie posters but they were left at home when I moved. As for now...I seem to have a fancy for purses...not the stupid Coach bags either, I mean like unique looking ones. I have some from a company logo called Blue Q and I'm sure they're made from recycled paper and plastic. I have a Mario one, Cheshire cat, two Hello Kitty purses, two anime off-the-shoulder bags, one big black leather one that almost looks like a briefcase, three that have jewels all over them, etc. I have a few and they just hang on my walls. I also collect crap loads of different incenses to burn. My uncle also gives me these antique tea cups and saucers to drink tea out of because I am keen on that stuff and bone china really brings out the flavor of a brew. It's not really sentimental stuff but I just started collecting them one day and it became habit.

I collect action figures and comics, but I haven't gotten any new ones in a while.

That reminds me of when I used to have a huge collection of Smirnoff Ice/Twist bottles decorating my room, but I recycled 'em. =P

I collect a lot, comics of stuff, Gundam Models, DVDs, Games, Anime, cards, CDs, Strategy Guides, Anime Posters, I'm sure theres more, I just can't think of anything else right now.

I used to drink a different type of beer every week, and collect the various bottles. At one point in time collected shark's teeth. I also have a pog collection somewhere. I think I might have collected key chains for a while too.

Holy crap! I remember pogs... they were the big thing once upon a time. I remember you could get slammers that look like saw blades and throwing stars. lol

I must admit I am an addict shopper. I love to buy the newest craze in clothes, shoes and bags. But i have a special inclination on bags, i love to collect bags..Bags of different colors and designs..I love to get discounted designer handbags.

It depends on where I am on vacation but I always like to bring back a token of what that area is known for. A few years ago I was in southern Italy (amalfi) and brought home beautiful ceramics hand made in the area. In a couple of months I will be going to Tuscany and plan on bringing home Wine and olive oil. On a side trip to Florence I will buy something in leather hopefully a purse or a jacket. I also will get my baby granddaughter her very first pair of tiny gold earrings. Florence is know for their leather and gold.

Since the American dollar is really bad this time I will not shop as much as I want to. When I went to London five years ago I brought back specialty food items from Harrods. The container that had a cheese spread in it with Harrods London written on it sits on my kitchen counter with sea salt in it. Everytime I salt anything I remember my trip to London.

The only time I do not really buy anything to bring home is when I go to the Caribbean or Mexico. Most of the stuff is too gaudy and not to my taste at all. I don't like silver or loud colors so I usually end up bringing home booze.

My sister collects shot glasses where ever she goes. Part of her living room is shelf after shelf of shot glasses. I would not tell her but between me and you, I hate the look!

HEY I JUST REMEMBERED, MY HOUSE NUMBERS OUTSIDE MY HOME ARE NUMBER TILES I PURCHASED IN CAPRI MANY YEARS AGO.
